Force decoding to restart when stuck by Andreas

Sometimes it happens that a file is stuck on decoding. It would be great if there was a button somewhere to restart the decoding process. Even better would be an automatic timer that detects if decoding doesn't make any progress and restarts it after a certain time period (eg. if no change in 3 minutes)
